Tour de Ski takes place in Toblach also in 2011

Dobbiaco does not let up. On the 15th of April 2010 the president Herbert Santer, the vice president Hanspeter Fuchs, TD Saskia Santer and sport assessor of the municipality of Cortina d’Ampezzo Herbert Huber – all representatives from the organization committees for sport events, in short SPORT OK – received and acknowledged during the FIS-meetings in Munich the YES for holding the World Cups of cross-country skiing as part of the Tour de Ski 2011.

The cross-country skiing World Cup races will take place on the 5th and 6th of January 2011. It is planned to hold the 5-10 km World Cup races in the Dobbiaco Nordic Arena on 5.1.2011. The World Cup races over 30-35 km for men and women will take place on 6.1.2011 from Cortina Center to Dobbiaco whereby women run the same distance like the men except for one extra round less in the cross-country skiing stadium.

With pleasure the Sport OK accepts the challenge of the cross-country skiing World Cup 2011 as part of the Tour de Ski and like last year it will master the organization/execution with efficiency, dedication and time.
