The skiroller track in Dobbiaco was completely resurfaced at the beginning of August 2026 – an important step towards re-establishing Dobbiaco as a year-round training centre for Nordic skiing. The new facility provides ideal conditions for international teams, national training groups, regional squads, and the young athletes of local ski clubs, who take their first steps on roller skis here while preparing for the winter season.

Shortly after its completion, the new skiroller track hosted its first major event: on 6 September 2026, together with ASV Antholzertal, the inaugural Südtirol Skiroll Festival took place. This special event brought together athletes of all ages and performance levels and officially showcased the new course in its first competition.
